There is a genuine British pre-decimal 'ship' halfpenny coin fixed to the front of each Pirates birthday card. The halfpenny, which is in mint condition, was issued in 1967.
The design features cartoons of real-life 18th century pirates: Captains Blackbeard, Bonnet, Low, England, Black Bart and Calico Jack.
The name of the birthday boy or girl is printed on the front of the card (first name only). We have used 'William' in the example below.
We print your personal message in a gold-coloured font on the inner leaves of the card.
Please note: these cards are not suitable for children aged 0-3 years because coins are a potential choking hazard.

Each card is approximately 14 x 14 cm. The card can be sent to you (we include a plain white envelope in the outer envelope) OR direct to the recipient.
